The Cohue Museum of Fine Arts is devoted to contemporary artistic expression. For just over thirty years, temporary exhibitions have given visitors the opportunity to explore various facets of visual art. The museum has exhibited work by artists such as Pierre Buraglio, Olivier Debré, Guy Le Meaux, François Morellet, Aurélie Nemours and Jean-Pierre Pincemin. The first floor, which is devoted to the works of internationally-renowned Breton painter Geneviève Asse, allows visitors to discover the artist’s generous gift to the museum.

The permanent exhibition also largely features late 19th and early 20th century works. Visitors will discover the emblematic Christ on the Cross painted by Eugène Delacroix (1798–1863), as well as a broad overview of romantic landscape painting in Brittany and decidedly modern compositions.
