Today as in the past, Bigouden culture remains relevant and alive. Explore the rooms of the Château des Barons du Pont, discover its collections of head-dresses and clothes, see how people lived, and find memories of both work and celebrations.
Every year, the temporary exhibitions in the vaulted rooms of the castle showcase the hard work of the museum team: dolls, connections between town and country life, the Art Deco period, the “discoverers” of the Pays Bigouden, the notion of folklore, Mathurin Méheut and textiles, Edouard Doigneau and children’s fashion…
